• It is looking that this is going to be the best day of the season. Sunshine and all the snow from yesterday….Have fun, be safe….K #
• Mont Gele and Mont Fort open…..Big smiles today… oh, and by the way,it's actually about 15 cm fresh up there to cover the tracks…T #
• What an epic day – very cold but brilliant. Minus 23 at Mont Fort this afternoon and John the liftie was FREEZING… G #

• Look like it'll be even colder today, and as for how much snow we had over night – we'll let you know when we get up there… G #
• Morning! 20 cm fresh on Ruinette and 30 on Mont fort. Good visibility in both Nendaz and Veysonnaz. Tortin will open in a little bit….K #

• OK, it's a bit cloudy but let's face it, skiing when you can see the floor is over-rated. Use The Force, Luke… G #

• OK it's white-out again. But the snow's great and it's falling quite hard up top… G #
• After a rather pleasant lunch at Chez Dany skied into resort and the sun's popped out. Excellent. G #

Really good conditions up there today – might have been a wee bit foggy but that just meant that the crowds stayed away and the pistes were nice and quiet – if tricky to see. Had a few inches of fresh on nicely groomed runs and down in the trees below Ruinettes it was brilliant. And then the sun came out…

OK, it was a wee bit foggy up there but it did break this afternoon up at Lac des Vaux and it was pretty impressive. Naturally it didn’t last and we skied down using The Force. But it was good while it lasted…

After a few blips the powers that be (the nice people at Verbinet) have got the webcams up high working, so you can see what it looks looking like up there before you drag yourself out of the house. And at sunset yesterday – when it was cloudy in town last night – it was looking stunning up there…

• Looks pretty chilly up there so maybe wear an extra layer – or if you're like Kent simply ski somewhere over the border that's sunny… G #
• Nic (my client) enjoyed Verbier's nightlife a little too much last night so lesson cancelled this morning. Shame as the cloud's breaking. G #
