The people who made it happen in our first season…

When we set up Performance we were lucky enough to have friends in resort who were great instructors and worked with us part-time.

Unfortunately, we haven’t got them all back this season, but hopefully they’ll be putting in appearances throughout the season, or just trying to get a free jacket…

Anyway, if you were taught by someone who was with us last season and they’re not on the main list, here’s who they are and what they’re up to now:

Louis

After teaching in Verbier for three years and playing music in all the bars and chalets, our resident singer-songwriter is back in the UK to finish his Architecture degree.

Probably a very responsible career move, but one that means we’ll have to settle for having him back part-time this season – if we can also tempt him off his telemark skis and drag him out of the park…

Jenny

Jenny has been in Verbier for years – mostly keeping an eye on her elder brother and Performance instructor Kenta. But this season she’s splitting her time between here and Sweden, and hopefully she’ll put in a few cameo appearances, as will her Jack Russell Stephen.

Maria

The lovely Maria is another Performance instructor who has a rather impressive double life – she’s a fully qualified pilot, and she’s hoping to be teaching people to fly planes this year.

That said, Jenny persuaded her to come back last season, so we’ll see if her legendary powers of persuasion can get Mackan out of a plane and back on her skis. How could she resist?
