Apprentices

Everyone seems to be doing GAP courses to get into ski teaching. Well, the funny thing is none of us did one – we just got jobs in resorts and bought instructors a few beers for taking us for training on their day off.

Well, we thought it’d be great if someone tried to help people who are keen on becoming instructors but wanted to hold down jobs in town while they trained.

So we’re taking on a few hand-picked apprentices this season, giving them training and advice on the industry, as well as teaching them about teaching in Verbier and giving them the chance to shadow lessons.

And if they turn out to be the kind of instructor we think we’d like a lesson with, they might be back in a few seasons to work for us.
