Trayan Chernev

A bit about Trayan:

I grew up in a small seaside town in Bulgaria called Pomorie, but I’ve spent seven winter seasons teaching skiing in Pamporovo Ski Resort (Bulgaria). I moved to Verbier last winter to experience the Swiss Alps and everything they have to offer. I was definitely not disappointed and I have decided to stay here for as long as I can.

During the summer I worked in a boulangerie in Villars, whilst trying to hike all of the surrounding summits.

I’ve always been into sports and I fell in love with skiing when I discovered it at the age of 23. Ever since I have tried to spend as much time on snow as possible, which has led me to coaching for the ski racing team “Moten” Bulgaria, instructing mainly British and Russian clients in my home resort and in Verbier last winter; training for my ski exams; and freeskiing with friends.

Teaching is almost more important to me than skiing itself, as I love to work with people and share my love of skiing with them.
