We know that before you head to resort you want every single bit of information about the weather and what’s in store (despite the fact that we all know you can never trust a weather man…).

So here are some weather forecasts we trust and we’ll also be bringing you live snow conditions from the hill via our Twitter feed as well as posting photos of conditions – check the sidebar on the right.

You’ll also find the SLF avalanche risk map and summary. Please check them regularly if you’re planning a trip into the powder – when conditions are perfect for skiing they’re often at their most dangerous here, so don’t get carried away. Read it regularly and if you don’t understand something just ask the experts.
