ski school verbier terms and conditions

Our terms and conditions

Here are the details of how our bookings work at the ski school – we’d always recommend that anyone making a booking with us should read through the terms and conditions just so you know exactly where you stand, and if you’ve go any questions please just drop us a line.

On booking, a deposit of 50% of the fees must be paid and we accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Switch or cheque. The full price of the ski lesson must be paid prior to the start of the lesson. Performance Verbier ski school reserves the right to refuse any client if payment has not been made in full prior to the start of the lesson.

Cancellation fees will be charged as follows: less than 24 hours notice 100%, 7 days notice 75% and within one month 50% of the fees.

Performance will not be liable for adverse weather conditions, breakdowns of mechanical installations or any other incidents beyond the company’s control. Fees for lessons with Performance Verbier ski school will be reimbursed on a pro rata daily basis in the event of the complete closure of the Verbier and Bruson lift systems or in the event of accident or illness of the client provided that the client presents a valid medical certificate.

Reimbursement will be calculated after your insurance cover. Our ski instructors will wait 30 minutes for clients and, unless a call has been made to the office or the instructor within this time, the client will forfeit the day’s ski lesson.

Performance does not accept any liability for accidents that happen during lessons or other company organised events. Clients are required to insure themselves for third party liability and to arrange a policy that provides for personal, medical and rescue insurance for skiing with a licensed and reputable insurer. Performance does not insure clients of the ski school. Lift passes are obligatory and are the responsibility of the client, not the ski school.
