A bit about Ruby:

Hi I’m Ruby,

I was introduced to skiing at a young age by my ski-obsessed parents, and that early exposure quickly grew into a passion for the art of skiing. I’ve since taught many seasons in Thredbo (Australia), Hakuba and Niseko (Japan), and now fulfilling a childhood dream of working in Switzerland!

Growing up on the east coast of Australia, I spent much of my time surfing and at the beach with my dog, Rosie. Surfing and skiing have always felt closely connected to me — both are about reading your environment, finding rhythm, and moving with nature rather than against it. That sense of flow is what continues to drive my desire to learn, improve and explore.

I now follow winter year-round, and during the in-between seasons I’m usually searching for new surf spots and beaches around the world. As an instructor, I enjoy teaching all levels, helping skiers build confidence, improve technique, and most importantly, enjoy their time on the mountain.
