A bit about Elena :

Originally From Australia’s East Coast, Elena’s home mountain is Thredbo in the Snowy Mountains region. Now in her sixth season of instructing across Japan and Australia, she is currently fulfilling a long-held dream of working in the Swiss Alps.Having trained extensively as an adult, Elena brings a strong understanding of the learning process and progression pathways, allowing her to break technique into clear, effective steps.

Passionate about sharing her love for the mountains and joys of skiing at all levels, her teaching style is relaxed and encouraging, yet focussed. Informed by her background as an experienced Emergency (ER/A&E) Nurse, she fosters a calm and confidence-building environment. Elena holds her Adaptive Snowsports qualification and enjoys working with children, adults, and people of diverse abilities.

Outside of alpine skiing, she enjoys backcountry ski touring, trail running, ceramics, and exploring the Australian coastline with her dogs back home.Elena looks forward to skiing with you in Verbier’s incredible terrain!
