Snow report: Verbier looks amazing. Fact.

|

Yes, after a lot of people panicking that we haven’t got enough snow we’ve finally had a few heavy snow falls and yesterday was yet another. So we enjoyed another glorious white-out in the knowledge that about 20cm of snow was falling all around us…

And sure enough the clouds parted at about midday and revealed a pretty impressive collection of views.

The good news is that Verbier is almost all open. Lower slopes are getting a bit icy and polished towards the end of the day but the whole mountain is open, with Tortin open but all the other itineraries having been closed until today – looks like col des Mines, Vallons D’Arbi and Mont glee are being prepared as we type this (8.20 am).

In fact it’s all in good condition for this time of year – the issue is probably that after a few massive winters we’ve a all forgotten what normal New year snow cover looks likeā€¦

Meanwhile Felix has been skiing Bruson – enjoy the video.
