Excited to return to an old stomping ground, after nine years spent in other ski resorts and industries. I've chosen to come back to Verbier, primarily to tick off a couple of personal career goals. I will say, however, the choice was made very easy knowing the terrain and ski school I was coming back to.
I rarely get summers, but rather successive winters because my 'home' mountain is in Australia, where I ride my kangaroo to work.
I teach, for one, because it's a rewarding experience that has a meaningful impact on people. Secondly, it's just such a good environment to be involved in. 15 teaching seasons is proof in the pudding.
